Located approximately 25 miles west of Boston, Bolton is a residential and agricultural town with a population of roughly 5,000. Historically, due to its terrain it was noted for producing potash, lime and brick products. Soon after the time it was in incorporated in 1738, orchards and dairy farming became most common in the town.
Today, Bolton has done a great job preserving its rural landscape as a nod to its heritage. The town is an ideal residential suburb that is located near other industrial areas which is great for commuting to work or to services. Perfectly situated off of Route 495, the ease of traveling in and out of Bolton is made quite easy.
